Lenten Study – Is there interest for having a Lenten Study this year? Over Lent, we’ll be reading passages from the gospel of John that illuminate the unusual discussions Jesus had during his ministry. Each conversation exposes different ideas and understandings about God. In the time together, I’d like to propose study these passages with the help of the book, “Drawn Into the Mystery of Jesus through the Gospel of John” by Jean Vanier. If you are interested, please contact me by phone or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.

The guest speaker will be Father John Stopa who is the rector of St. George’s and St. Thomas Anglican Churches. As a theological student and postulant for ordination in 1998, Father John participated in an Anglican Church International Exchange Program in the 115 Seychelle Islands located in the Indian Ocean. Please plan to attend and let Father John tell you about it!
