Sunday, Jan. 19 – Rev. Dr. Christine Johnson leads the service along with Rick Leben. Her sermon is based on Isaiah 49: 1-7 and is entitled “Do the Next Right Thing – Part 2.” Last week, she talked about how in the face of existential dread all we can do is the next right thing. This week, she’ll be exploring how we determine what the “right” thing to do is.

Thursday, Jan. 23 – Week of Prayer for Christian Unity Service – 7:30 p.m. – St. George’s Anglican Church hall.

Sunday, Jan. 26 – Rick Leben is away for winter holidays and so we’re pleased to welcome Phillip Burness as our Music Leader until Sunday, March 8. Rev. Dr. Christine Johnson leads the service. Our UCW will be kindly serving a Spaghetti lunch following the service.

Sunday, Feb. 2 – The service is led by Rev. Dr. Christine Johnson and Phillip Burness.

Men’s Ministry Breakfast Meeting Join us on Saturday, January 18th 9:30 am at Bethel St. Andrew’s beginning with coffee and fellowship. George Charbonneau will make a presentation about
the Come Home to Great Care campaign of the Arnprior Hospital and Grove Foundation. The target is to raise $4 million to build the new Grove Nursing Home and $1 million for new hospital
medical equipment. This will allow the current 60 beds in the Grove to meet the upcoming provincial requirements for standards of care and provide an additional 36 long-term care beds in our community.
Join us to learn more about meeting the needs of our growing senior population.

Week of Prayer for Christian Unity – The Fitzroy Harbour Ministerial is hosting a service to celebrate the unity we feel as Christians regardless of denomination or creed. This will take place in the hall of St. George’s Anglican church on Thursday, January 23 at 7:30 pm. The service has been written by a group of Christians from the island of Malta. All are welcome.
Annual Meeting – We’ve set Sunday, February 23 for our Annual Meeting following a shortened worship service. Copies will be available on Sunday, February 16. The deadline for all reports will be Sunday, February 2. Please send any reports to Victoria Lefebre at
