Christmas Decorations Needed! Do you have any extra Christmas Tree ornaments you’re not using? We have a large tree that’s hungry for ornaments. If so, leave them at the church for Anita D’Arcy.

“ANGEL TREE time is here! Help make a Christmas wish come true for a child in our community. Our tree is at the back of the sanctuary. Please take one (or more) angels from the tree and purchase a gift appropriate for the age indicated on it. Bring your gift(s) back no later than Dec 15, unwrapped. These gifts are included in the Christmas Food Baskets delivered by our local Food Bank on Dec 20.”

For a Wintry Night, ‘A Christmas Community Candlelight Carol Sing’, Friday Dec. 20, at 7pm. Come and sing into the Christmas season. It will take place at the Oasis Church at 3794 Diamondview Rd in Kinburn. Refreshments will be served after the Sing. We would encourage the donation of a canned good for the community food cupboard when you come. The entire community is warmly invited.

Our Christmas Pageant Needs You!! On Sunday, Dec. 22 at 10 am, all ages will be invited to participate in our pageant called “We Are All Shepherds.” You need to decide whether you’ll be a shepherd, an angel or a sheep. Costumes are not required but STRONGLY ENCOURAGED! We’ll be inviting everyone to come a bit early to get a costume and to read the script that will be printed in a paper bulletin. No memorization, just follow the leader! If you know of a family of children who might like to participate in a pageant, we ask you to invite them. The more the merrier!!! Following the service, we’ll get together for a Christmas party potluck of finger foods. Birthday cake will be provided.

Children’s Ministry – We are looking for adults to assist Mackenzie Aldis, our main Sunday School Leader. There is no planning or teaching required. The job would be to assist Mackenzie and serve as a helper. With a long enough list, we are hoping to have a rotation so that volunteers would serve about once every two months. Please sign up with Rev. Dr. Christine Johnson.
